I am a conceptual artist. I am decidedly attracted by newness and its immediate obsolescence. I appropriate elements from fashion, art, advertising, the Internet and interrogate social and cultural phenomena and structures through my work. I explore issues of place and perception using photography, moving images and sound on the web, in the gallery, and in public space.

I collaborate often with other artists and consider it a way to challenge my own position and practice while experimenting with forms of social sculpture.
