This page contains a sample archive of simple and unique interactive sound instruments that can be played in a variety of contexts.
Anyone with a laptop and wi-fi can participate in a public, private or networked performance. These instruments can be placed in a group to create a type of orchestra, used as a medium for intervention in a public setting, and projected into spaces and landscapes. This Archive will continue to expand as new installations are conceived and developed and anyone is invited to engage. I collaborate with musicians and other artists to create discreet installations and sound compositions based on the above possibilities. Examples are located in the "sound/sculpture/performance" section of my site. Please contact me if you would like to help make this project grow.
Sources for the sounds include traditional analog musical instrumentation, digitally manipulated renderings of musical sound and the natural environment.
